Singing in the Rain

Ok, we weren't singing, but we were walking! Mommy and Terry took us all for a walk in the woods and it started POURING outside! I didn't care. I don't mind the rain at all. And I love running in the woods and jumping over stuff and crawling under stuff! I'm such a big boy now!

Yesterday I had to have a bath again! I don't know why Mommy doesn't think it's fun to play in the mud like I do! I can dig so good with just my one front leg! I get mud ALL OVER! Mommy made me sit outside until Terry came home so he could give me a bath. Mommy has a hard time doing that because of her boo boo shoulder. She says it's feeling better, but she has a hard time moving it around and she can't reach very far and can't do this physical therapy thing until after her surgery. I had my whole leg removed and I didn't have to do any physical therapy! I just ran right out of Dr. Mark's office and pee peed all over the floor because I was so happy to see Mommy!

Not much else is happening here. Daddy is out of town for work again and I miss him lots. He's my favorite Daddy! Alex is coming over next week! That will be fun! He is 3 years old, and I like to play with him. I think he'll like playing with me more now because I don't bite and chew as much as I did when he was here before. I know how to play toys with people now! I can play tug, and I LOVE when you throw the ball and I go get it and bring it right back to you! Mommy says we're still working on "drop it".

I gotta go now. Mommy said it's time for my foster sister Gladys to have a bath. Gladys didn't even play in the mud! Mommy said Gladys is going for a bye-bye tomorrow and she smells like wet dog from our walk. I don't see what's wrong with that, but as long as I don't have to have another bath, that's fine with me! Sorry!

Hi Everyone! Sorry it's been so long since I made a post. Mommy hasn't been feeling good and hasn't been turning on the computer. She's feeling better today, though.

I got my stitches out the other day and I'm all healed up! Dr. Mark did such a good job on removing my leg! When the hair grows over my scar, it won't even look like there was ever a boo boo leg there! I was a good boy at the dr, but I always am! They are my good friends and I'm always happy to see them. Dr. Mark said he's going to post pictures of me having my surgery on their facebook page, and I'll let you know when he does that!

I got weighed at the dr! I weigh almost 25 lbs! I'm only 4 months old, and my doggie mommy is 40 lbs, so I guess I'm going to be bigger than her! Mommy can't believe how long my legs are getting! And I have lots and lots of muscles, just like my big sister Ursula! And, I have swirlies like Boz so it looks like I have butt cheeks! My mommy says she likes my swirlie butt cheeks! lol

Haven't done any big bye-byes lately. Just kinda hanging around at home because Mommy's been sick. Daddy has been on vacation again so he's been home with me a lot! I like when Daddy is home! And I only got into the muddy water once this week!

Well, I'm gonna go because Mommy wants to go lay down and have some cuddle time! Good Night Everyone!

Fetch!

Here's one of the pictures of me from the other day when I got into the big mud puddle and got all dirty! Mommy said the internet was acting goofy and wouldn't upload the picture.

My big people brother Terry has been teaching me how to play Fetch! I was playing with my doggie brother Remington's tennis balls, but today Terry got me my size tennis balls today! I am SO excited! I can even get one of them in my mouth and still carry a stuffy! Not really easily, but I can! Terry or Mommy throws the ball for me and I run and get it and bring it back and I wiggle all over! I'm learning about "drop it". That means that Terry is pulling it out of my mouth to throw it again! He has all kinds of tricks to get it out of my mouth! Remington doesn't play as fun as me. He brings the ball back and just drops it right by Terry's or Mommy's feet. Hmmmm, drops it..."drop it"...there might be something there. But, I'm still a baby so I can't quite figure it out yet! But I do get all excited to play that game! I'll even play it with other toys, but I like to play that with balls, best. And I still like to play tug with my people and my doggie brothers and sisters!

Tomorrow we might go to another adoption event with my foster sister Gladys. It's at Bark-A-Bout at 14660 23 mile rd in Shelby Township from 10am -4pm. I'm not sure what time we're going to get there, but we'll do our best! Gotta get our Sweet Gladys some exposure any time we can! Mommy and Terry are talking about taking Gladys and Remington, but maybe taking me, too. They just have to figure out how to do all three.

Well, my Mommy says I have to get off the computer so we can go to bed early so we can make it to the event tomorrow. I bet I can get my Mommy to play fetch with me for a while first! Good night everyone!

Bath Time!

Yup, I got into some mud today! Mommy and Terry and my doggie brothers and sisters were on the deck in the backyard and I snuck off to the front yard and dug in the big mudhole where Mommy had a big bush pulled out! It was SO much fun! I don't know why Terry put a big piece of wood over the hole...now I can't play in it anymore! My big brother Remington played in that big hole the other day and had to have a big bath, too! I'm really good in the bath now! I even get to go in the big bathtub instead of in the kitchen sink! I stand really nice and wait for it to be done! Mommy said it's a good thing I waited for it to be two weeks after my surgery so I was able to have a bath!

I've been back to playing lots all the time! I'm all better now, except I just have to have my stitches out next week. Mommy thinks they might have to knock me out for that because she doesn't know how else they'll get me to sit still! She says I'm too much of a wiggle butt!

Well, I'd better go. Mommy said the internet is acting funny and it doesn't want to upload my picture and she doesn't know if it'll even post my blog. And after all my playing in the mud and taking a bath, I'm really sleepy and I think I'm going to take a nap with Remington on the doggie bed! Good Night Everyone!

I had fun playing today! I feel so much better from after my surgery! I played with everyone today. My big doggie sister Natasha even played with me! And this morning I jumped on Mommy's head and kissed her WHOLE face to wake her up!

Yesterday I went to the Waggs and Wishes Bark-B-Que and it was so much fun! I went with my foster sister, Gladys. Mommy says we had bonding time. Today I followed her all over the yard! I tried to play with Gladys, but she doesn't really do doggie playing. Only tug sometimes with people...especially Daddy. She LOVES Daddy!

Yesterday people kept saying that I am such a lucky boy to have been adopted by my Mommy and Daddy! Mommy says people have to stop saying that! Mommy says that SHE is the lucky one to have me in her family! I guess we're both pretty lucky that we found each other! Mommy always tells me how she loves me big lots! I love my Mommy, too...and everyone in my family...and everyone I ever see!

Well, I'm going to go and get Mommy to post links to my videos so we can have some cuddle time before we go to bed! Good Night Everyone!

SO Tired!

Today I went to the Bark-B-Que for Waggs and Wishes rescue with my foster sister Gladys. It was SO much fun! I got to see my Aunt Rae and my Aunt Angie and LOTS of other people and doggies! Gladys had lots of fun, too! Gladys didn't find her forever home, though. :( My Mommy and Daddy LOVE Gladys, but they really want her to find her family. But she can stay here until then, that's ok.

Last couple days have been kinda ucky. I was pretty sore by my shoulder and my Mommy still has a sore shoulder and she was really sickies for a couple days. We just kinda laid around for a few days on the couch. That was pretty nice, though! I got to do lots of cuddling with my Mommy and gave her SO much kisses!

Well, everyone, I wish I could write more but I am SO tired from the big day at the party picnic that I really need to make some sleepy time! Good Nite Everyone!

Not much to say

I don't have much to say tonight. Mommy's shoulder is sore, I'm pretty sore today, and poor Remington isn't sore today but has to be kept quiet and doesn't wanna! His thingies (or where his thingies were) was swollen really bad from his neuter and yesterday he started bleeding all over and Mommy and Terry had to take him to the emergency vet. He's ok for now, but has to go back to Dr. Mark and might have to have more surgery to remove the scrotum where it's all ucky. I feel bad for him. And he has to wear the big stupid lamp shade thingie so he doesn't lick.

I was pretty sore today and don't want to do much. I cried a little bit when I moved just right. I feel better now. I ate all my dinner and that always helps!

My big people sister Brooke has a friend who needs a new home for her doggie. It's a golden retriever/pitt mix and he's almost 3 years old. He's not neutered and he really needs his shots and a patient family who can spend some time training him. He's very friendly and good with kids and doggies and kitties. If you know anyone who can help, please send my Mommy a note!

Well, I'm gonna go lay on the couch with Mommy so we both feel better! Good Night!

boo boo boy

Hi Everyone! Had a pretty nice day today. I stayed with Terry for all morning because my Daddy took my Mommy for her MRI thingie. (She'll get the results maybe Tuesday) Last night I got to sleep half the night with Daddy and half the night with Mommy! Mommy is sleeping on the couch because she has to put her shoulder against the back of it to keep it supported, and she gets up a lot because it hurts and she doesn't want to disturb Daddy. So it was kinda special for me because I had TWO special sleeps! Then Mommy and Daddy came home and I napped with Mommy and Daddy took me for a little short walk outside because I wanted to go so bad. Then Boz wanted to play with me so he was laying down and I was chewing on Boz's face and I bumped something and I started to bleed just a little bit, so Mommy held me on her lap with a wet wash cloth. It wasn't bad. I got tired of her holding me and wiggled away and went to lay in my crate. I like it in my crate. I can go in there when I don't want anyone to bother me! It's my own special place!

Mommy got a call from her regular doctor today. He got the results of the xrays and Mommy has a fractured shoulder. We won't know about the torn rotator cuff until she gets the MRI results next week. Mommy was pretty sore from the way she had to hold her arm when they did the MRI thingie.

Well, I'm going to go because Mommy wants to lay down and I love to have cuddle time with her! Good Night Everyone!

Home from surgery!

Hi Everyone! I had my surgery yesterday and I had to stay the night at Dr. Mark's, but I'm home now! My Mommy says it's like nothing happened at all! I don't mess with my stitches or anything! Mommy says the hardest thing is that she's supposed to do is keep me quiet for a few days, but I'm a puppy! I want to run and play and jump on and off the couch! Dr. Mark said to make sure I don't bump my boo boo. I don't even have a big bandage anymore. Just lots of stitches! Mommy didn't count them because she says that stitches gross her out! Dr. Mark said the surgery went ok. It was kinda harder than he expected because it looked like when the guy stepped on me and broke my leg he did something to the shoulder too because it wasn't really "right" and a little weird to remove. But, it's all gone and I'm just fine! Mommy says I even stand up straighter! I used to kinda lean to the right a little because of the old leg hanging there, but not anymore! I even had my "boy thingies" taken care of while I was there!

Mommy still has a boo boo shoulder. Tomorrow she has to go to the hospital to have an MRI thingie done. She was worried about that because she had one before and they had to put a big needle in her shoulder, but she found out that they don't have to do that this time, so she's ok. Then next week she's going to a bone doctor to find out everything that's going on. Mommy's regular doctor thinks she has a torn rotator cuff. I don't know what that is, but Mommy has her arm in this thing that holds it in front of her, and whenever she moves it she makes hurting noises!

Anyway, I'd better go so I can help take care of Mommy! And I want to thank everyone again who helped with donations for my surgery! You all are awesome! Love you!

almost time!

Hi Everyone! Well, day after tomorrow is my big surgery day! I'm going to have my front right leg amputated! If you don't know why, go ahead and look at some old posts and some of them have my boo-boo leg story!

We haven't been doing to much. Mainly because Mommy went to an adoption thingie with my foster sister Gladys and she thought she'd try to help out by taking a doggie for a walk that was in a crate. Well, the doggie tried to take Mommy for a walk instead and Mommy has a big boo boo on her right knee and down her leg, and she has a big boo boo right shoulder, and it's in this thing called a sling! She went to her regular doctor today (she did go to the emergency room on Saturday first because my Aunt Rae made her!) and tomorrow she'll have an appointment with the bone doctor. Mommy says she dislocated it when she fell down, but the doctor thinks she tore something called her ratator cuff. She might have to have surgery, too! I think Mommy just wants to be like me!

Anyway, Mommy took her pain medicine and is going to go crash on the couch and I want to cuddle her to help her feel better so I'm going to cut this one short!

Mommy says I'm cute!

Mommy says she loves to just watch me play! She says she loves the way I kinda bounce when I run because I only have the one front leg that works! And she said that when I run I always have this giant goofy smile with my tongue hanging out! And she loves the way I will just run from one thing to another, quietly playing all by myself, always looking soooo happy! That's because I AM so happy all the time! Because I have an awesome family that loves me so much! Even my doggie brothers and sisters love me! They play with me all the time and they watch out for me because I'm the baby! And when I'm not playing I have comfy beds (I even get to sleep in people beds! Not just doggie beds!) and a safe crate I can nap in, and yummy breakfast and dinner and treats and there's always bowls with lots of water inside and outside!

Not all doggies have wonderful families like I do! That's why everyone who wants to be a wonderful family for a sweet doggie like me should go to the shelter or to a rescue and find someone who will love you more than you could ever imagine! Tomorrow at 12 Mile and Woodward at the Pets Supplies Plus store my Aunt Angie and Waggs and Wishes is going to have an adoption event! That is down in the city from where I live! My foster sister Gladys is going to be there! I put a picture of her on here. She is a Black and Tan Coon Hound! She doesn't hunt or anything though. She likes to cuddle with her people all the time and go for big walks on her leash! My Mommy loves her very much, but Mommy wants Gladys to get a good forever home so we can help Aunt Angie save more doggies! There are going to be other doggies and kitties there, too! And on September 25th they are going to have a Bark-B-Que in a town called Ferndale! It's all the Waggs and Wishes website. That's www.waggsandwishes.org . They are going to have all their doggies and kitties there, too, that need wonderful forever homes! And I'm going to be at the Bark-B-Que! I can't wait to meet everyone there who reads my blog every day!

There's just one more thing! On Wednesday (that's 9/15/10) I have to have my boo-boo leg amputated. When I was just a very baby puppy the man that owned my doggie Mommy (She is looking for a forever home, too!) stepped on me and broke my leg in three places. He didn't bother to take me to the doctor or anything. He was going to drown us puppies in a big thing of water but someone called Aunt Angie to come save us. When Aunt Angie got us, though, it was too late to fix my leg. It kinda gets in the way sometimes when I run and play, and the doctor said it's going to grow funny, so it has to go away. It's going to cost my Mommy a lot of money and she's hoping that some nice people will help her out a little. Mommy made a "chipin" so if anyone wants to donate something (even something little helps a lot!) you can do it right through paypal! I put the "chipin" right here on the page so you don't have to look for it!

No Baths Today!

I was such a good boy today! I didn't get into the muddy water at all! I went down by it once, but Mommy yelled at me to get out of there and I listened! We played a lot! Boz even played a lot with me!

Today Remington and Gladys came home from Aunt Rae's! They are both very sleepy and woozy acting. Boz said Remington "joined the club" and he said that I'm next, but I really don't know what that means. And I guess Gladys didn't really need to go. They were going to cut her belly a little bit and tie something up, but when they shaved the hair off, there was already a scar where it had been done before! So she just got to get woozy! Mommy says I have to leave them alone tonight and tomorrow so they feel better.

nice day

Today was a pretty nice day. Played outside a lot and onlu had to have one bath! That was a good thing! My beagle sister Lucy played with me a lot, and so did my Great dane sister Natasha! It was lots of fun!

Terry left pretty early with Remington and Gladys. They are staying with Aunt Rae so they can be at the dr. early in the morning. They are both getting snipped. I guess that means they won't be able to have babies puppies. Mommy said that's a good thing because there are already too many puppies out there that need homes, along with older doggies that need homes. They'll be home tomorrow night, though. I can't wait to see them because I miss them! but Ursula and Lucy and Natasha and even boz has given me lots to play with!

Whew!

Wow, I am SO tired! I played really big outside for a long time! It's good I played so long because the sandy mud dried and fell off of me and I don't have to take another bath today! I had to take one this morning because I got so muddy! I sat very good in the sink this time though! I don't really like it, but I'm getting used to it!

When I was outside, I got to play with my beagle sister Lucy! She never really played with me before, just a little bit. We played king of the hill! I like that game! There is a dirt pile outside that I love to play on and dig in! Even with just one front leg I'm a pretty good digger! I played with Ursula and Remington, too! And Terry threw a ball for me so I could run and get it and that was a fun game! I'm learning lots of fun games to play! Terry wants Mommy to get this thing they saw today called an agility course. I think it would be fun! Mommy doesn't know if she has the patience!

Tomorrow Terry is taking my new brother Remington and my foster sister Gladys to the city to stay the night with Aunt Rae. I guess they are going to go to a new doctor down there to "get snipped" whatever that means. Mommy said I'll learn about that soon enough.

Wow, only 8 more days till my big surgery to have my boo-boo leg amputated! Mommy said she's sad about it, but it's the best thing to do. She said I'll be just fine! But Mommy loves me so much that she worries that I'll miss her when I'm at Dr. Mark's and that I'm not going to be feeling to good for a little while. Mommy takes such good care of me, though, that I know it'll all be ok!

Well, I'd better get going! I'm so tired. Daddy is watching something Mommy says is "a stupid show" so she's going to read and I can cuddle with her while she does that! Good Night Everyone!

I had to have another bath today. I don't like having to take a bath. I don't know why I can't roll in the sandy mud puddle and have fun without having to take a bath. Taking a bath is not fun. I even made sure I rolled around really good to get the sandy mud puddle ALL over me and Mommy washed it all off. Huh...

What was fun today was I got to meet my Aunt Julie and Uncle Andre! They just moved back to Michigan from Texas! Well, Aunt Julie used to live in Michigan before, anyway. It's chilly here for them, but they like it! Aunt Julie said I'm so cute she wants to steal me! She said that about my big doggie sister Ursula when she was a puppy, too! I love it when people come to visit me!

I got a new collar, too! Mommy took off my old collar when she gave me the yucky bath and gave me the new collar after. She said it was because my old collar was for a baby and I'm getting so big that I need a big boy collar! It's red with glow in the dark doggie prints on it! Just like my old collar, but bigger!

Well, I'm going to go now because I had a big day and I'm getting sleepy and I want to cuddle on the couch with my Daddy! Tomorrow is his last day of his vacation and I want to spend all the time I can with him because I have the best Daddy ever! He doesn't give me a bath! Good night everyone!

BRRRR!

Today was a very cold day! Mommy said today was nothun! But it's the coldest day I remember! I went in the sand where there's water and I had to have a bath in the kitchen sink. I didn't like that at all. I don't understand why I have to have all these dumb baths! Mommy said if I stayed out of the mud, I wouldn't have to have them. But I like to play in the mud! It's fun!

Today my big people sister Brooke and my Daddy shot at targets in the backyard with the guns. I didn't care at all, but Mommy had to lay in the bedroom closet with my foster sister Gladys. Gladys was really really scared of the big booms and was shaking. Mommy said even though she's a black and tan coon hound, she's definitely a lover, not a hunter! Mommy said she hopes to find Gladys a really good home with people who will give her lots and lots of attention because she is so sweet and just wants to be loved! Mommy said she'll be really sad when Gladys gets a forever family because Mommy loves Gladys a lot but Mommy says that we can't keep everyone! But she said Gladys has a home here for as long as it takes to find her the perfect forever family! And they'll have to be perfect! Mommy said so! So, if you are reading this and know of anyone who sounds like a perfect family for my foster sister Gladys, tell them to let Waggs and Wishes know!

Gee, this is MY blog and I just spent most of my time writing about my foster sister! I love her, though, and hope she has a good life. Mommy spent time with me other than giving me that ucky bath. She toweled me off really good, then she had to towel my big sister Natasha off really good. Natasha wasn't wet, but she likes to get rubbed with the towel! Then I had all this big energy from getting the bath and I terrorized everyone for a while and my new brother Remington played with me tons! Then I had a nice cuddle time with my Mommy and I cuddled right up on her lap and made a little sleepy time and Mommy said I would sigh because I was so content. I know my Mommy has the most love of anyone and she says when there's more doggies, she just gets more love! Alex is here too, and he plays with me some. He's only three years old, so I guess he has a hard time understanding how puppies play. I'm just happy there is someone my size!

I'm learning some stuff and some stuff is kinda hard. I know "no" and "stop", and sometimes I know "sit". Mommy says that's not bad because I'm still a baby. She wants me to learn the one where I ask to go out to potty every time. Usually I am so busy that I don't know I have to make pee-pee until I have to do it NOW! Then Mommy runs with me dripping pee pee all over the house to get me outside and by then I'm all done, so I don't know what help that is. Maybe my Mommy is a crazy lady! She said Lucy and Ursula were house trained by the time they were my age, but they were always closer to the door in their old house! Mommy is thinking about tying bells by the door to teach us to ring them when we want out. We'll see how that works out!

Anyway, it's getting late and Mommy wants to get Alex ready for bed so we can have some quiet time! Believe me, with Alex around there isn't much quiet time! Mommy says thats the same with any three year old boy! So, I'm going to go now, and hopefully I'll get Mommy to post new pictures too. She has some on her phone, I don't know what's taking her so long! Anyway, have a good night everyone!

Had so much fun today! Played outside TONS because it's such a nice day out! Then Mommy and Daddy left for awhile and when they came home they had Alex with them! Now, let's see...my Mommy and Daddy are Alex's grandma and grandpa, my big people sister Amanda is Alex's Mommy, so I guess that makes me Alex's uncle! I won't make him call me Uncle Monk, though. That seems kinda silly! It's really cool having a people here that is my size! He's lots of fun to play with!

Today there was lots of water in the sand hole because it rained a lot yesterday. I got down in there to play in the water and it was fun but Daddy yelled and me and chased me out of there. I ran right to Mommy but she wasn't happy because I rubbed sandy gunk all over her! She dried, though.

Then, my big people brother Tyler came over with his friends! They came to go camping in the back field again! I'm always happy to see them. They like me a lot and pet me and play with me and tell me how cute I am! They see the other doggies too, but the other one they really like is Boz. They always have extra time for Boz!

Whew! I had such a big day, I'm really really sleepy! I already had lots of cuddle time on Mommy's lap before Tyler came...I thought my day was already done! I'm going to sleep good tonight! Good Nite Everyone!

rain rain go away

Not much of a day today. Mommy and Brooke were gone most of the day doing shopping stuff. They didn't get me anything. Daddy and Terry were home all day. We kinda laid around and napped a lot. It was raining most of the day so there wasn't much to do. When it finally stopped raining for a while we had to go outside because my big doggie brother Remington had so much energy he couldn't be in the house anymore without breaking everything in it!

That's my big news for today. My big people brother Terry adopted my foster brother Remington! So Remington is our forever family now! We were fostering him for the same rescue that Mommy adopted me from, Waggs and Wishes. www.waggsandwishes.org They are always looking for help if anyone is around the Ferndale, MI area and can help out with fostering or donating food or collars and leashes or blankets or time. They sometimes need help cleaning at the shelter or walking doggies or taking the blankets to the laundramat. Not much else happened today. My foster sister Gladys had a sicky tummy today and kept making poo-poos all down the hallway. At least she was going into the bathroom, so she kinda had the right idea! She feels all better now! Daddy didn't know where the little green machine carpet cleaner thingie is, so now Mommy has to clean it up. Just like a Daddy...that's what Mommy said.

Well, I'm going to go now and help Mommy find all the spots that need to be cleaned in the carpet. That's because I'm such a good boy! Good Night Everyone!

Day with Terry!

Yesterday I had a big day with Terry! Mommy and Daddy had to go do lots of stuff yesterday and they were gone all day so Terry was the puppy sitter! And Ursula lets my foster brother Remington play with me now, so that was lots of fun, too! I got to climb right on top of him and play! Ursula watches though to make sure that I'm ok! I think that maybe Remington is Ursula's boyfriend! They go all over together and even lay together a lot...with their head's touching and everything! I think it's good because Ursula is the bestest big sister and Remington is a really nice and good boy!

Today Mommy and Daddy were both home with me all day long! That hardly ever happens, so it was extra special for me! Mommy and Daddy and Terry took us all for a big walk today after it cooled down some. My foster sister Gladys has to be on a leash when we go for walks because even though we're in our own yard she gets sniffing and loses her hearing. She does good on the leash though and really likes my Daddy! She goes by him a lot.

Otherwise we didn't really do much today because it was so hot out so we stayed in the house in the cool. Tomorrow Daddy and Terry are leaving early because we're getting the pool table from Grandma and Grandpa. I guess some special mover people are going to move it, but Daddy wants to be there when they get there. Then tomorrow Daddy and Terry have to go to my big people brother Tyler's college to give him an air conditioner so he's not so hot in his room. That means I won't get to see Daddy and Terry too much tomorrow, but I'll have lots of special time with my Mommy! That's good because Mommy smiles a lot when she's with me!

Well, I'd better go. Mommy is going to sit in her recliner and finish reading her book so I can have some cuddle time! Good Night Everyone!

Baths

Today was a very hot day so we didn't spend lots of time playing outside. But, Mommy and my big people sister Brooke gave all of us doggies a bath outside with the hose. I didn't like that too much! I got all wet! Ursula had to have two baths because she rolled in the dirt when she was done and Mommy washed her again!

Ursula let my foster brother Remington play with me today! She usually doesn't let Remington play with me but today she did, she just watched him close! We had fun playing and he played really nice with me! Ursula didn't have to worry, but she does anyway because she loves me!

Nothing else really happened today because it was so hot outside. Sorry for such a short blog today, but I really don't have anything to talk about!

Not much today

Hi Everyone! Not much went on today. I played outside ALOT today and I took a big nap in the big bed with my Mommy! Daddy was home ALL DAY and that was so awesome! I even got to play with my new foster brother, Remington! Ursula let him play with me! Ursula takes good care of me and loves me a lot! She is my very best doggie friend and sister!

We went for a big walk this morning in the woods with Mommy and Daddy! That was fun! When I got tired my Daddy carried me! I was pretty excited about that because it's usually Mommy. There was lots of cool smells out there again! Mommy says that it's deer and raccoons and bunnies and stuff! I have the best backyard!

I found a cool new toy! It's a water bottle! They make really awesome sounds when you chew on it! I have one all smushed down and I did it all by myself!

Well, I'm gonna go. I did lots of playing and running today and I'm pretty tired! Good Night Everyone!

YIPEE!

I'm SO happy! My Daddy will be home soon! He's been gone all week and I miss him! And the best part is, he'll be on vacation, so he'll be home all week with me! I love when my Daddy is home! He is so much fun and he loves me big bunches!

I am getting to be such a big boy! I got on the couch all by myself today! I knew it was something cool because when I made it up there, I wiggled ALL over! I even had a toy in my mouth! (It was my rubber chicken! I love that toy!)

Other than that, today has been same old same old! Just play play play, run run run, eat eat eat and nap nap nap! I'm thinking I'd better get a quick nap in before Daddy gets home so I can see him tonight! Good Nite Everyone!

Monk the Porker

Today was a good day! I got to play outside lots again because Terry and Mommy are cleaning the garage and stuff because they are getting a pool table from Grandma and Grandpa! I had so much fun playing outside in the grass! I chased grasshoppers and butterflies!

Mommy said I'm getting chunky! She said she can't figure out how because all I do is run run run! She said I should be a bean pole, not a porker! But I'm so happy anyway! I have the bestest family and they love me SO much!

Today my Mommy was very proud of my big doggie sister Ursula! Ursula didn't like my new foster brother Remington, but today she played really big with him! They ran all over the yard and jumped together and everything! And Remington tired Ursula out! Ursula doesn't like my foster brother and sister to go by me, though. She says I'm HER baby puppy. Mommy said they can go by me if they want to, but she's happy because she figures Ursula would protect me if I needed it.

Mommy said in the next few days she won't be as busy as she had been, so she'll have more time to take new pictures of me! Then everyone can see what a porker I am!

Well, I'm going to go because I'm so tired from all the playing outside I did! Good Night Everyone!

A Great Day!

Today was a really good day! I played outside a lot today and Mommy took a nap with me! That always makes it a good day!

But, Mommy and Terry took me for a big bye-bye today! We went to pick up my new foster sister. She is a Black and Tan Coonhound. She didn't have a name, so Mommy started calling her Gladys. And when we went to pick her up from Aunt Angie (she's who Mommy got me from!), Aunt Angie had a German Shepard boy named Remington that needed a foster home, too! So, Mommy brought him home because Terry LOVES German Shepards! So I have a foster brother, too! I guess "foster" means that they won't live here all the time like I do, but they only live here until they find good forever homes. I think Terry wants to keep Remington, though! Remington seems to think he is Terry's doggie! He follows Terry everywhere, except down the basement stairs. He doesn't seem to like those. My big doggie sister likes Remington, too! I think it's her boyfriend! Everyone likes Gladys because she's such a nice girl! The only bad thing about today was that I didn't get to visit with Aunt Angie. She was in the car with all the other doggies that she saved from the shelter they were at. If she didn't save them today, they would've had to go to the Rainbow Bridge, and that wouldn't have been good! She brought lots of doggies and some have to go to a doggie boarder, so if anyone can give her a donation, remember you can always go to www.waggsandwishes.org to do that!

We just went for a BIG walk with my new foster brother and sister! We went all the way to the back field and all the way around it and back! Mommy had to carry me some of the time because it's a long way. Remington and Gladys had to be on leashes, but they did ok. They liked all the good smells in our big yard!

Well, I think I'm gonna go because I'm really tired from my big day today! Good Night Everyone!

Visit with Dr. Mark

Hi Everyone! I went to see Dr. Mark today! I got two shots. That was yucky. But seeing everyone there was fun! I love to visit! I got weighed when I was there. Remember when my Mommy first brought me home when I was 7 weeks old, and I weighed 4.2 lbs? Then two weeks later when I was 9 weeks old I weighed 7.2 lbs...almost double! Now it's three weeks later and I'm 12 weeks old and I weigh 14 and a half lbs! All the way double this time! I'm such a big boy! And Dr. Mark says I must be a good eater, too! That's for sure! And Dr. Mark said I'm big enough now to have the surgery to remove my boo-boo leg. Mommy set that up for September 15th. That's in just three weeks! It's kinda scary, but Mommy said I'll be just fine.

Today I had fun playing in the yard! I like to chase butterflies and moths, but today there was a big butterfly. I stalked it for a while because it was sitting on my favorite yellow plastic golf ball, but I didn't know if I should get too close to it because it was way bigger than the other butterflies. Mommy said it was a Monarch butterfly. I decided to leave it alone.

My big doggie sister Natasha played with me so much this morning! It was lots of fun! She laid down on the ground and played with me just like Ursula does! This was the first time Natasha played with me like that and I was so happy!

Well, I'd better go. I'm pretty sleepy from the big car ride and visiting at Dr. Mark's and I think I want to take a nap! Have a great day everyone!

Long day

It was a long day today. Mommy has a stuffy head and she was doing all that canning stuff again. But Mommy did take time to cuddle and play with me! Ursula played with me a lot, and I like to play with my toys quietly by myself sometimes, too! And sometimes I like to just sit on the deck and look out at my yard. Sometimes quiet time is good!

I'm sad because my Daddy went away today for his work. He's going to be gone the whole week, and I'll miss him! I love my Daddy, even if he picks on me. Last night I was trying to make nite-nite on the couch and he kept playing with the hair on my ears. Mommy told me to go ahead and bite his fingers off because she would laugh really hard at that, but I don't want to bite my Daddy's fingers off because then he wouldn't be able to sneak me yummy stuff! He picks on all the doggies here, but I just think that means he loves us! Mommy said it just means he's asking for his fingers to be bitten off!

Uh-Oh. I better go now. Mommy just noticed that I made a poo-poo on the doggie bed! I'm gonna hurry up and make nite-nite and pretend I don't know she saw it! Good night everyone!

early today

Hi! I'm posting now because Mommy is taking a break from all the stuff she's doing. I guess it's called "canning". I really don't care because she said it's not for me anyway. And, tonight my big people brother Terry is coming home and Daddy will be home early from work, so I'll be really busy playing with them later and might not have time to post before I make nite-nite.

Know what I did? I took a nap in my crate ALL BY MYSELF! Mommy said that was a good place for me to take a nap. I didn't know I could hang out in there without the door shut! Sometimes I sneak in there to take a drink from my water bottle. It's fun to drink from that because it's drippy when I lick it! It's not as fun as licking the rain off of stuff outside, though!

Yesterday I had to be in my crate for a while because Mommy had to do some stuff with my big people sister Brooke. When she got home I was SO happy to see her because I had to make pee-pee really bad! Mommy carried me outside, but I dribbled all over her and she had to change her clothes! Sorry Mommy! Mommy said I'm getting so big that she might not be able to carry me outside much longer. Sometimes she makes me run to the door, but if I have to go really bad she carries me.

I can almost get on the couch all by myself now! Then my big doggie brother Boz will only have Mommy's bed to hide in! Pretty soon Mommy said! I try to run and jump on there but I only get my front leg up on the couch but it's getting close!

Well, Mommy said she has to get back to her tomatoes, so I'd better get off of the computer. Bye Bye everyone!

Rainy day

Today was a rainy day, so we didn't spend lots of time outside. Tonight Mommy was milking PopTart and there was a big noise and I ran all the way to the back door! Mommy said it was just thunder dunders and not to worry about it. Mommy says she loves thunder dunders!

Mommy said I was full of pee-pee and vinegar again today, whatever that means. I know she had Boz go in her bed because I wanted to play with him SO BAD and he just wanted to take a nap. And I had lots of fun getting into lots of stuff today! Mommy wasn't happy when she saw me with her shoe. And Mommy was very busy cleaning today so she didn't have as much time to play with me. And I didn't take many big naps either!

Mommy was happy because today she was sitting on the step and I climbed onto her lap just to sit with her! Mommy says she likes when I do that. Usually when we have cuddle time I just lay on the recliner by her legs. I don't do big cuddling when I'm sleeping, but I like to when I'm awake!

Daddy came home early again today! I was SO excited to see him! He is the best Daddy! Except he doesn't want me to chew on his face and his armpits anymore. I wonder why! But Daddy does like to play toys with me, and that's lots of fun!

Well, Mommy said I have to get off the computer now. Good night everyone!

Lazy days

It was a pretty lazy day today! Mommy took a nap with me, and we sat outside a lot! Well, I guess it wasn't all that lazy when we were outside because I played in the sand and in the grass and with toys and Ursula! That is always fun!

Daddy came home early from work today! It was even not dark out! I was so happy to see him. Mommy was, too, until she saw he went to the big store by himself. Mommy said it's called Costco and that Daddy isn't supposed to go there by himself! She said lots of bad words, but nobody will ever know because I won't tell! Mommy said she doesn't know what she's going to do with 36 cans of Spam! But Daddy did bring home a big watermelon! I LOVE watermelon, and Mommy says it's a healthy snack for me! That's good because I want to be healthy and grow up to be a big boy like my brother Boz!

Mommy said we have to go see Dr. Mark next week for a shot or something, and they're going to talk about my boo-boo leg. Mommy said it's growing and getting long and it just hangs there and is starting to get in my way a little bit already. It's kinda scary to think about Dr. Mark cutting it off, but Mommy said I'll be making big nite-nite and won't even feel it. And I'll get some stuff after so I don't hurt. And I know my Mommy will take good care of me, so I'll be ok. And I'll get around better without that dumb leg hanging there.

Well, I'd better go. Mommy wants to watch tv so that means it's cuddle time! Good Nite everyone!

Back online!

Hi Everyone! Mommy got her new modem today so we're back online and she doesn't have to sneak me into places anymore so I can write! She's very happy about that! So am I because I don't like being stuffed into Mommy's purse...especially in a place like Big Boy where there's all kinds of food and I can't sit at the table and eat!

Mommy said I'm growing up because I'm sleeping all night now and I don't take as much naps during the day. I sure do play alot! I love to run, run, run! And Ursula started to play tug with me, and that's lots of fun! She's big though, and pulls me around. Mommy is trying to get video of it, but it hasn't turned out good.

Mommy says I'm growing up because I'm getting my boy thingies too! She said I better not get used to them, though. Mommy said they're coming off. That must be why my big brother Boz doesn't have any boy thingies. So I guess that's ok because I love Boz. He's a big cool guy, and I want to be just like him! Boz likes me more all the time, too! Today he was sleeping in the dining room and I laid right on him and tried to go to sleep and he let me! Mommy wanted to take a picture but she was on the phone with the "stupid tech support" people. That's not all she said, but remember, I don't tell on her when she says bad words so nobody will know!

Well, Mommy said I have to get off the computer because she has lots to do because she didn't have internet for a few days. I'm gonna go see if anyone left anything in their dishes after dinner! Bye-Bye!

Mommy snuck me into Big Boy!

Mommy said the internet is still not working at home, so Mommy and Terry had to sneak me into Big Boy so I could write this! Hopefully nobody will catch us so I can finish! Mommy said we should have our new modem by the end of the week.

We had a really fun day on Saturday! Mommy and Terry took Boz and me to this pet fest thing in Ann Arbor. We sat and helped out in the Great Lakes Mastiff Rescue booth. LOTS of people stopped to look at Boz because he's such a big boy! LOTS of little kids stopped to play with me! That was lots of fun! And lots of people asked about my boo-boo leg. Mommy said that nobody had to be sorry for me because I'm so happy! And my Aunt Rae and my cousin Jamie Lynn came up to the pet fest, too! Jamie bought a kinda sling thingie for her little doggie, but she carried me around in it while they were there, and I really liked it! It was lots of fun!

I've been playing outside more and more! I can get down the steps pretty good now! And I just run right up them without falling down all the time! Yesterday I chased a butterfly all over the yard! Mommy said when we get home, we're going to go for a big walk in the woods again! I think that's lots of fun! There is so much stuff to sniff in the woods!

Well, I'd better get going so we can go home and go for our big walk! I'll try to write again as soon as I can!

I'm SO awesome!

Last night Mommy was SO excited! Well, first I woke her up in the middle of the night by jumping on her head! Hey, I had to make a big poo-poo. So Mommy took me outside and I made my poo-poo, then we went in the house. It was 1:00 in the morning, but I was ready to play, so we stayed in the living room and I was playing, then I ran to the door and started crying, so Mommy took me out and I made pee-pee! I knew I did something good and was really excited and Mommy was telling me I was SO good for asking to go out for the very first time! Mommy even gave me a treat in the middle of the night! She said she's so proud of me!

We had lots of fun yesterday. I played outside in the sand a lot. I love to play in the sand and dig! Mommy says I'm funny because my face is all full of sand when I dig and it's cute! But every time she tries to take a picture, I wiggle all over and she can't get it. Maybe one day I'll stand still so Mommy can get my picture with my sandy face and I'll post it here on my blog!

Tomorrow Mommy and Terry are taking me and Boz to a thingie in Ann Arbor. It's the Pet Emporium event and it'll be lots of fun! If anyone can go to Ann Arbor, there will be lots of booths and stuff.

Well, I'm going to have to go. Mommy's modem is broken and she had to sneak me into the library to write this and the lady at the desk is looking at us kinda funny. We won't have internet at our house until sometime next week, so I won't be able to write my blog every day until then. Mommy said we'll try to get back up here or go to somewhere else that has internet that we can use though. Have a good weekend everyone! I'll write more as soon as I can!

Woo Hoo!

I'm very happy because Mommy said she got an email from the lady who lost her Great Dane and she told Mommy that her doggie is back with her! That's always good news!

Also, before I forget, the rescue where my Mommy got my big brother, Boz, is having a raffle with another rescue. His rescue is Great Lakes Mastiff Rescue, and the other one is Guardian Angels Basset Rescue. Anyway, the raffle is for a 1968 Corvette that is all redone and brand new! I don't know what a Corvette is, but Mommy said it's a nice prize. There is also an early bird raffle. If you buy a ticket before September 13th, you can win a big trip to either Maui, Paris, or Disneyworld! Pretty cool, eh? The tickets start at $10 for 1, but if you buy more you get a better deal! And this will help the poor doggies in the rescues who are still waiting for their forever home!

My Mommy said I really slept SO good last night! I didn't even get up to potty, and I stayed in bed until 7:00! Mommy was really happy with me!

Today Mommy and my big people sister Brooke had to go to the doctor and some other stuff, so I had to go in my crate for a while. I didn't like it too much today because someone was outside and my doggie sisters were barking a lot and I was scared. I guess it wasn't a big deal because the person was supposed to be here, but I don't like it when everyone barks loud like that. Then some other people came over and took away two of our goats. Mommy said they are going to a nice new home. I was sad because I didn't get to go outside and see the people. They were here a couple days ago and said I was so cute, and I LOVE to hear that!

Mommy said that in a few more sleeps I'll get to hear that a lot again! Mommy and Terry are going to help out at a doggie thingie kinda like the petapalooza thing on Saturday. They are going to help the Mastiff rescue people for a while. Mommy said it's kinda far away, so I get to go with Boz because she doesn't want me to be in the crate that long. The mastiff lady said it's ok if I go because then people can see that mastiff's get along with little guys like me. Maybe some people will get to watch Boz walk around with me hanging on his tail! I LOVE to do that! It's one of my favorite things to do! Boz must think it's fun too because every time I grab his tail he gets up and walks away!

Well, I better go because it's pretty late and Mommy wants to go to bed! Good Night!

They like me!

Finally all the doggies here will play with me! Ok, maybe not my beagle sister, Lucy, but she lets me follow her around the yard! Natasha tries to play with me a lot now! And even Boz played with me, kinda! He doesn't really play much, but he did! Ursula still plays with me the most! She's my best friend!

My Mommy said I'm a weirdo! Just because I LOVE to sleep with my face stuffed into a shoe! I sleep like that all the time...I don't care if it's a sneaker or a slipper or a flip flop! As long as I can get my nose in it!

And I have my very own chore that I have to do now! I was already helping Lucy with her chore. She cleans all the extra doggie food up that falls on the floor. So I help her do that, and I help my Mommy clean under her bed! I go under there and find stuff she lost and I find it for her! I'm such a good boy!

My Mommy got an email about someone who lost their Great Dane doggie in Marshall, MI. I'm going to copy and paste some of it here so that if anyone is in that area or knows anyone in that area they can keep an eye out. Mommy doesn't want to post the lady's phone number here, so she said for me to tell you to either leave a comment or post to Mommy's facebook or something if you have any info on this poor lost doggie. Good evening. I am home visiting my parents in Marshall, MI and my
great dane Audrey ran away Sunday evening. She is a rescue from the
Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League. She is a 2 year old female who has had
puppies. She is a blue mantle with white on her paws, nose, belly, tip of tail,
and triangle shape on the back of her neck, charcoal everywhere else. She has
no collar, tags, or microchip. She's very shy, responds to food, and has an
aversion to men. If you have any information, PLEASE let me know. I also would
love to talk to someone to know that you received this. Thank you.

Blah....

Today was a pretty boring day. It rained a lot so we played in the house. We took a big nap in Mommy's comfy bed! I took a nap with my nose stuck in Mommy's old tennis shoe that she wears in the yard, too! It smelled better than my big brother Boz's butt...I was right by it! PHEW!

Yesterday my big sister Natasha wanted to play with me outside! Mommy and Terry thought it was funny because she wanted me to run with her. Only Ursula can run with Natasha because Natasha is fast like a greyhound Mommy says. I don't know what she thought I'd be able to do with her...she'd leave me in the dust!

Well, I think I'm going to go. I might talk Mommy into making some homemade cinnamon rolls for Terry and Daddy for breakfast tomorrow! Mommy can't have any because she's doing some thing with points and she said it'll take all her points for the whole day. I don't understand the points thing, but if it makes Mommy happy.....

pee-pee boy

My Daddy stayed home with me all day yesterday! I had fun playing with my Daddy! He let Mommy sleep lots. That's why I didn't get to do my blog last night. Daddy doesn't know about these things.

Mommy said she's wondering if it was a good idea to let Daddy play with me all day yesterday. All day today I kept making pee-pee on the carpet right in front of her. She figures Daddy probably didn't know I did that yesterday, so now I think it's ok. Mommy wasn't happy with me about it at all. She even got out this little thing that squirts soapy water and sucks it up to clean up my pee-pee. She said she's mad because she has to go get a big one to clean the whole carpet!

I started going into my crate all by myself yesterday! I have a water bottle in there and it's fun to drink water from it. I have some toys in there too that I can play with. It's kinda a nice quiet and safe place for me. I like to be safe! Usually I just hide behind Mommy's feet, but now I have another place to go!

Mommy says I remind her of someone named Tramp, and I should eat some spaghetti with a pretty girl! I think that sounds good! I don't even need the pretty girl...I'd just be happy with the spaghetti!

Well, I better go and cuddle with Mommy and do some sucking up! Good Nite Everyone!

Pee Pee and Vinegar

My Mommy says I was so full of energy today! I just ran and ran all day! I had fun running outside, and when I was inside I ran from toy to toy! And then I would fall over and be right asleep. Mommy says I must have something called narcolepsy. I don't know what that is...Mommy and her big words! I barked a lot today, too! I wanted everyone to play with me! Mommy likes my bark, she says it's a cute puppy bark. I think my bark is ferocious! Mommy said I was pretty good except that I keep wanting to pull all of her printer paper out all over the floor! I think that's fun!

Tonight my big people brother Tyler and his friends came over again! They are out in the back field camping again now, but I got to see them and I wiggled all over! It is so much fun when friends come to visit!

Daddy tried to take me for a walk like Mommy did yesterday, but I didn't really want to go without Mommy. We didn't get very far and Daddy had to bring me back. I had fun playing with Daddy though! I was super excited that he came home from work early today because I don't get to see him as much as I get to see Mommy.

Today my Mommy dropped me. She had to, she said, or she'd have squished me. She tripped on the deck again. This time she got boo boos though. Daddy had to put gushy stuff on her knee and then a bandage, and she has this red stuff coming out from under her toenail! It's kinda icky, but she says it's feeling better. I wasn't hurt or anything. Just scared me a little. And Mommy said she felt bad. She had Daddy play with me a little bit before he took care of her!

Well, I played so much I think I'm going to start making nite nite soon! Have a good night everyone!

What a day

Well, the first part of the day was kinda boring. First I made pee-pee on Mommy's bed. Well, I had to really go and Mommy was sleeping and Daddy got up but he went right in to take a shower! What was I supposed to do? Then it was muggy and it rained and it was muggy again. Being in the house wasn't too bad, though. My favorite big people brother Terry let me taste his pork chop! Wow! That was soooooo good!

Finally it got nice outside. Mommy took me and my doggie brother and sisters for a big walk in the woods! I walked almost the whole way all by myself! Ok, I RAN! It was so much fun! There were big green stuff all over that was way taller than me and I ran right through it! Mommy said Daddy better get it mowed because if it wasn't for the markings on the trees, she wouldn't have found the trails! But I thought it was very fun anyway!

Then Mommy was milking Pop Tart. Pop Tart kicked over the milk bucket and Mommy said a bad word. Then when she turned around to remind me that I'm not supposed to tell anyone she said a bad word, she saw that I was all full of goat milk! Next thing I know she's throwing me in the kitchen sink! Yes...throwing me! From all the way across the yard! No, not really. She just put me in the sink and made me do something called a bath. I didn't like that at all. Then she put me on the deck and came back with a towel. I wouldn't go up to her at first because I thought she might put me back in the sink! But she rubbed me all over with the towel and I really liked that! But I hope I don't have to do the bath thing anymore!

Wow, after my big walk and my bath, I think I'm really sleepy! I'm gonna go lay down and make nite-nite until Daddy comes home and I can tell him all about my day! Well, except for Mommy saying a bad word, because I'm not supposed to tell!

Mommy is teaching me a new word. It's "NO"! I kinda get it sometimes. I'm not sure I understand why she says NO. I mean, I know that it means I'm supposed to stop doing something, but I don't always understand why I'm supposed to stop...like when I'm having fun chewing on the couch or picking up rocks in the outside. I really don't understand it when she says "This is a no-no" when she points at my poo-poo when it's in the house. When I make a poo-poo in the outside she says I'm a good boy. I run to Mommy's room and make poo-poo on the doggie bed in there, and she tells me I was supposed to do that in the outside. But I wasn't in the outside, I was in the house. And Mommy says my poo-poo is stinky, so I go in the other room. See, I have manners!

I have a little toy that my Mommy says is a "rubber chicken". I learned how to squeak it this morning! I was so proud because Mommy and Terry and Ursula squeak it and I figured it out! Mommy said I'm not supposed to do squeakies at 4:00 in the morning, though, because it might wake up Daddy. I think that would be a good idea because then Daddy could play with me too! But Mommy said I have to let Daddy sleep.

Well, I'd better go. Mommy says she has a headache so I want to spend some cuddle time with her tonight so she feels better. Good night everyone!

I'm a healthy boy!

Today Mommy gave me special treats! I had some carrot and some bell pepper! And I LOVE them! I like to eat healthy snacks so I can grow up to be a big boy like my brother Boz! He likes to eat healthy snacks like carrots and apples! Mommy said I can't have any grapes, though. I guess that's ok because Mommy makes sure I have lots of good stuff!

Mommy finally got some video of me running in the yard and up the steps! She said it's not the best because she was doing it by herself and I kept getting under her. It's not on you tube yet, though. There was something called an error, so I guess she'll give me the link to give you tomorrow!

The nice people who rescued me are having some problems. They went and got some nice doggies that need new homes, and some of them are sick. A few of them died because they were sick. Something called Parvo. I guess they really need some help with the vet bills because it costs a lot of money to try to make doggies with parvo all better. If anyone can help, even if it's just a little tiny bit, please help them out. They have a website www.waggsandwishes.org and there is a paypal link on there if you can help. They have an address, too, if you can mail them something. And they are looking for foster homes for some doggies. They have to be homes without any other doggies though. They have a facebook page, too. Just look up waggs and wishes on fb to find them!

Well, my Daddy just got home, so I'm going to go visit with him before he has to go to bed! Good night everyone!

Trip to the doctor

Today I went to see Dr. Mark for a checkup. I was awake this time so I got to meet Dr. Mark and Giles the vet tech and Courtney the receptionist! I wiggled all over and gave kisses and everyone likes me there! I got to get on the scale and now I weigh 7.2 pounds! Two weeks ago when I went I weighed 4.2 pounds so I almost doubled! Mommy said it's no wonder I can make it up the steps all by myself now! Just before I left Dr. Mark's office, Giles came in and gave me a shot. I didn't like that at all. But they said it's so I don't get any sickies, so I guess it's ok.

Today was the very first time I went bye-bye in the car without someone holding me! I sat in the seat like a very good boy on the way to Dr. Mark's office! Mommy gave me a chewie, but I only chewed on it for a little bit on the way. When we were going home I wanted Mommy to keep her hand on the seat by me. It made me feel better after getting an ucky shot!

My beagle sister Lucy is starting to like me! Mommy and Terry have seen her sniffing me and letting me sit by her. Lucy pretends like she's not doing any of that, though. Mommy said she'd like me when she got used to me being here and got a little bigger. Even Boz didn't get up and move today when I attacked his tail!

Well, I'd better go because it's cuddle time with Mommy! I love cuddle time at night when Mommy watches tv! I like cuddle time all the time! Good night everyone!

Another fun day!

Today was lots of fun! I went to this place with airplanes with my Mommy and Aunt Rae and Aunt Rae's friend Brenda and Jonas! I didn't really care about the airplanes, but I got to meet lots of people and everyone said I am SO cute! I got to see lots of kids too! I love kids! They are always so nice to me!

Mommy said I slept so good last night! My big people brother Tyler came over with some friends to camp out in the back field! They all said how cute I am, too! I played outside for a long, long time last night! And by the time everyone was off to the field, I was really sleepy and I went right to bed! I got up at 2am to make pee-pee outside, and went right back to sleep again! Then I slept all the way till 5:30, and was only up for about 20 minutes and went back to nite nite until 7:30! Mommy was really happy with that! She said we're going to play outside for 2 hours EVERY night before bedtime!

Mommy said that I'm a sissy! When my big doggie sisters bark really loud, I get scared and I hide. Usually I hide by Mommy, but if she's not close enough to get to really fast, I'll hide by my big doggie brother Boz! My Mommy says I don't need to be scared of my sisters barking because there's never anything there. I'm not afraid when Boz barks, though. He only barks when he wants someone to move off the couch so he can get up there!

Well, Mommy says it's time for me to get off of the computer. It's getting almost to our cuddle time when Mommy watches tv! That's good time because I get to cuddle on Mommy's lap! Good Nite everyone!

Saturday Night

It's Saturday night and I'm waiting for my big people brother Tyler to get here. I haven't met him yet, and he's bringing friends with him! I'm so excited because I love to meet new people! Everyone always tells me how cute I am!

I was just playing outside with my Daddy! He started new hours at work and now I get to see him at night! I love my Daddy! He was so surprised to see how fast I can run now in the grass! Mommy says I have two speeds...sleeping and puppy! I really like to run!

Tomorrow I get to see my Aunt Rae again! She is coming over with her friend that I haven't met yet and her friend's grandson that came with us to the Petapalooza! Aunt Rae's friend Brenda is going to love me, too, because everyone does! They are going to do some stuff so I hope I get to go with them! I don't want to stay in my crate if I have to stay home. And I like to go bye-bye in the car!

Mommy did this silly thing today. She cut my toenails! She said she was happy because I'm a baby so she can still use regular people nail clippers and she doesn't have to use those big scary looking doggie clippers. Ursula and Natasha got their toenails cut yesterday and they didn't like it. Natasha was even shaking. I didn't think it was that bad, but I don't know why Mommy did it. I like how they click on the floor when I run through the house!

A big boy!

Hi everybody! Today was another nice day and I got to play in the sand a lot again. I love to run in the sand and dig. It's lots of fun!

My Mommy says I'm getting to be a big boy! I can get up the steps by the deck all the time by myself! Mommy says I must've grown even though she says I still look like a little guy to her! On Monday we're going to see Dr. Mark to get a shot and I'll get weighed then. When I first went to see Dr. Mark I weighed 4.2 pounds! Mommy said she'd see what I weigh at home, but then she would have to get on the scale and she doesn't want to!

Today my big sister Ursula had a bad day. So did my beagle sister Lucy. This morning when my Mommy was getting ready to milk Pop Tart, Ursula and Lucy chased a little kitten that was in the goat pen and it ran out of the pen and they got it. Mommy was very mad and yelled at them and I ran and sat on the porch by my big brother Boz. My big sisters haven't ever really seen kitties before so they didn't know what it was. My Mommy said it was probably a feral cat. I don't know what that means, but she said it still wasn't good for Ursula and Lucy to do that. Then later Mommy got me some chewie sticks. My brother and sisters had these things called bully sticks, but they are too big for me, so I had a chewie stick. Ursula tried to steal it from me when Mommy left the room, and Ursula got into trouble again. See, not a good day for her. She showed Mommy she was sorry, though. She's been good all the rest of the day.

I really like my new chewie sticks! I was so excited when I got one! They are even better than my puppy milk bones! Only one problem...I only have one front leg so it's kinda hard for me to hold it to chew! I worked it out, though. First I tried to curl up and hold it with my back legs! That didn't work too good. I found out that I can just rest it across my good front leg and chew on it and that works ok.

Oh, and today my Mommy and my big people brother Terry had to go shopping so I had to go in my crate. They were gone for a couple hours and I didn't even make pee pee in my crate! I sure had to make a big pee pee when they got home, though, but I made it outside! Mommy said she was very proud of me!

Well, Terry brought some movies home today and Mommy wants to watch one, so it's time to go cuddle in the chair! Good Nite everyone!

The sandlot

My big people brother Terry took Mommy's pool down before I came to live here, so by the deck there is a great big bunch of sand that was under the pool. All the other doggies like to lay in it and play in it, but today I finally went in the sand! It felt kinda funny on my toes. It took me a while, I kinda kept trying to take a step on it, but wasn't sure if I should. It's ok now, though. There is also a sandbox in the yard. It's just a big tractor tire with sand in it, and the sand is coming out the sides underneath the tire. I like to dig in that sand! My Mommy said it's ok as long as I only dig in the sand!

It was such a nice day today! Mommy and I played outside a lot today. I love to run in the grass! I'm doing so good running in the grass with my boo-boo leg! I don't fall on my face as much as I used to, but I still do sometimes! Today while we were outside Mommy let the goats come out. She said Aunt Rae has Mommy's weedwacker, so the goats have to eat the tall weeds. They are more than happy to help! So I got to sniff noses with the goats again! They always come to say hi to me, then they go about their business.

Well, my Mommy said she has to go milk Pop Tart so I have to go outside with her. Terry is going to go outside too and he plays with me all the time! Have a good night everyone!

A good boy!

Mommy said I was such a good boy this morning! She woke up and I was playing with a toy in the bed quietly and didn't make pee pee! I got so happy when I saw Mommy wake up and jumped right on her and she took me right outside to make potty! And when we were outside, my big doggie sister Natasha did a play bow at me! Usually she just ignores me! Then Mommy milked the goat and had some extra milk, so I got to have a little on my breakfast! I love yummy goat milk!

Later on when I woke up from my nap, Mommy picked me up to carry me outside and I accidentally made pee pee all over Mommy. She had to have my big people brother Terry take me outside so she could clean up and change her clothes. I didn't mean to, I just had to go really really bad! Mommy didn't yell at me or anything. She told Daddy what happened and he just said "it'll dry"!

Today my doggie sisters Ursula and Lucy kept barking and I kept getting scared. When I got scared I ran right to Mommy for her to pick me up, then I was ok. Mommy kept telling Ursula and Lucy to stop barking because there wasn't anything there. I guess they bark at nothing a lot. But I'm just a baby, so I don't know if they're barking at nothing or at something scary, so I'll just go on Mommy's lap.

Today Mommy made her dinner and when she was eating, she said "I love squash!" I don't know why. I was squashed once and I didn't like it at all. And I didn't see Mommy get squashed, she was just eating dinner!

Well, Mommy has her jammies on so that means it's time to cuddle in the chair and watch a movie! Good night!

Sniffers!

Mommy said I found my sniffer! Last night and today when we were out in the yard, I found out that there are some smells out there that I can follow, so I did! That was fun! I wonder what they are! My big sister Ursula and beagle sister Lucy said they are stuff like bunny rabbits and squirrels and mice and moles and that we even have these big things that go through the yard called deer! I don't know what any of those are, but I like to sniff them! My big sister, Natasha, said to be careful of the things that are black with a big white stripe. She said they are NOT kitties and that if I try to play with one I'll get all wet and stinky and will have to take lots of baths. I don't want to get that kind of stinky!

This morning Mommy was still sleeping and Daddy had just gotten up to get ready for work, and I didn't want to bother Mommy. Ursula said it was ok if I make pee pee in the bed on Daddy's side. She did it when she was my size and Daddy said "It'll dry"! So Mommy had to do lots of laundry today! She wasn't happy about that (she had all kinds of goat milk in the fridge and had to make lots of cottage cheese and fudge and pudding to use it up, so she was already busy today!) so I guess next time I'll just wake Mommy up! Mommy said it's ok if I wake her up because I'm just a baby and I don't know about holding it yet. I don't know, last time I made pee pee I looked at it and I don't know how I would hold it. I guess I would need a bowl or something.

Well, Ursula and Lucy are outside barking and I want to see what's going on! Have a good night!

What a great day!

I really love my new family! They are so nice to me and always tell me I'm such a good boy! And I get so much love and attention! Last night my big people sister Brooke took me out to potty in the middle of the night so Mommy could sleep, and she stayed up and played with me! And today I got to stay with big people brother Terry and I got to sleep in his bed more and he let me lick a little cheese sauce from his macaroni and cheese off of his finger. It was SO yummy! And he gave me a thing that he said was so I didn't get worms in my heart and that was super yummy, too!

Last night I found my tail and I played with that a lot! It was fun running in circles, but I fall down sometimes. Ok, I fall down a lot, but Mommy says when I grow bigger I'll have more balance! She said I fall down because I'm a puppy and I have this boo-boo leg, too, but I'll get better at running and staying up!

Mommy was singing to me last night, and I really like that. Brooke said that she doesn't like it, but I don't know why! I got excited and put my ears up and wiggled a lot and gave Mommy lots of kisses. I'm not sure who's song it is. First Mommy said it was Dave, then she said it was Matthew. I think Mommy is a little confused about who's song it is, but I won't say anything to her about it. If she wants it to be Dave and Matthew's, that's ok with me. As long as she keeps singing to me, I don't care who's song it is!

Well, Mommy said she has to get her pizza out of the oven and I have to come in the kitchen while she does it so she can keep an eye on me! I don't know why she thinks she needs to watch me all the time. I guess it's because I'm such a cute puppy! But I better go so she can have her pizza! Maybe she'll give me one of my favorite puppy milk bones! YUMMY!

I'm a big boy!

Hi Everyone! Today we didn't do too much. Mommy says she's still tired from the big day yesterday! I did get to play outside a lot, and with my toys! And lots and lots of playing with my sister Ursula! And I got to make big sleepies with Terry in his bed in the basement! I've never been down there before! He has nice comfy blankets that I got to lay on! The other doggies said it's special time to get to go downstairs with Terry, so that was pretty cool! When I was down there my Mommy's favorite thing came on tv and I woke up when I heard it and Terry told Mommy I lifted my ears up! My Mommy loves the thing on the tv with hamsters singing "you can go with this, or you can go with that"! She watches it sometimes 5 or 6 times when it comes on because she loves it, so when I hear it I know what it is!

My big people sister Brooke held me lots today! She wanted me to nap with her or cuddle on the chair, but every time she wanted to do that it was my playtime so I kept trying to bite her in her face! I think that's fun. I don't know why everyone tells me NO when I do it!

My Mommy says I'm a big boy now because I can get all the way up the steps to the deck all by myself almost every time! Sometimes I still miss the second step and roll off. Mommy laughs when I do that, so it's ok.

I'm going to go now and cuddle with my Mommy on the couch. She says she doesn't feel good and wants to relax, so I'm going to give her lots of love so she'll feel all better! Good Nite Everyone!

Petapalooza Day!

Wow! I had SO much fun today! My Mommy and Terry took my Great Dane sister Natasha and me to the Petapalooza thing at a Palace in Auburn Hills! I didn't see a palace, but I saw tents and lots of people and cats and dogs! I got to see the wonderful people at the rescue that saved me where my Mommy got me from! (Remember...Waggs and Wishes!) Especially I got to see Auntie Angie! She's the lady that runs the rescue! And everyone there was SO happy to see me! Everyone kept passing me around and giving me kisses and love and saying "It's Gimpy!" I don't know why because Mommy says my name is Monk, but that's ok because they were all happy when they said it! I was really hoping to see my brothers and sisters from my doggie Mommy, but they all got new forever homes before we we got to the palace that was really just tents! I'm sorry I didn't get to say hi to them, but I'm happy they have homes. I hope they are all as good as my home! Probably not because I have the best home and the best family! All the people there walking around to look at the doggies and kitties stopped to see me because they said I was so cute! My Great Dane sister Natasha had lots of fun, too! She loves to meet new people and doggies and she got to meet lots of them! My Mommy and Daddy adopted her from Great Dane Rescue,Inc. but she's really Terry's doggie. She loves him best of all the family! Terry was walking her around and everyone liked seeing her, too! Some people even asked if she was up for adoption because they wanted to take her home with them! And Natasha got to meet some other Great Danes and that was her favorite part of the day!

I had such a big day, then I was really tired and kept falling asleep with whoever was holding me! And I slept all the way home in the car on Terry's lap! Mommy says that's about an hour, but she stopped a couple places on the way home so it was longer. When I got home Mommy said she was ready for a nap, but I was ready to play and I ran around all over the yard and the house and played with all my toys and my sister Ursula! I ate dinner and played for a couple hours before I was ready for another nap, so Mommy took me to her big comfy bed and we had a nap there. Ursula and my English Mastiff brother, Boz, took a nap with us. I slept right in the middle of them! I love to cuddle with Boz! Mommy says he's like a big teddy bear. I just think he's big and cushy and keeps me safe!

Well, Mommy says I should get off of the computer so we can cuddle in her big chair and watch tv for a little while! Daddy will be home soon, too, and I have to tell him all about my day! Nite nite!

It's HOT today!

Well, Mommy says it's muggy, too. We aren't spending a lot of time playing outside today because Mommy said it's too hot and muggy.

Mommy says that Ursula really plays nice with me all the time! In fact, Ursula wants to just play with me all day long...except when we're taking naps or eating our dinner! She is my very good friend and we have lots of fun! She even played with me a lot when I was up until 2:00 in the morning! Mommy didn't want to play much with me then...I don't know why.

Mommy says one more sleep until we go on our big bye-bye to the Petapalooza thing! It's going to be so much fun! Mommy said we'll probably take my big sister, Natasha, with us too because she doesn't get to do lots of big bye-byes. Terry said Natasha will have fun and she'll get to prance around because she is a princess!

Mommy said that all of us doggies make too much mess and she has to sweep all the time. I think it's fun when Mommy sweeps and I like to try to get the broom. Mommy said a bad word when I got the broom and messed up her pile of stuff, but it's ok because I said I wouldn't tell anyone that she said a bad word so nobody will know! I don't mind when Mommy pushes that big yellow thing that makes lots of noise either. She said it gets all our hair out of the carpeting. I don't see why she just can't leave our hair there. It's not hurting anyone!

Mommy says I'm not afraid of anything except when the big doggies bark loud or I can't find any of my people. Sometimes when I'm taking a nap, Mommy will go in the other room and I wake up and can't find her and I hide under the couch. Well, I only get my head under there. And when the other doggies bark really loud at the window, I run and hide by Mommy. Mommy said I shouldn't worry because when the other doggies bark at the window there's never anything there, anyway.

Well, I'm going to go and play with my Mommy for a little while before my next nap time!

A Fun Day!

Today I got to go to the city and go to the big doggie toy store! That was lots of fun! I got new puppy toys and I really like to play with them! And I got to meet new people and everyone said I am so cute! And they all said AWWW about my boo-boo leg. Then we stopped at a thing called a garage sale. There were lots of people there that said I am so cute, too! I was a very good boy going bye bye in the car!

Mommy said that in a couple more sleeps we're going on a really big bye-bye! It's a thing called Petapalooza at a place called the Palace! It must be a really cool thing if it's in a Palace! Mommy said that the people at the rescue that got me from my first home will be there and it will be fun! I hope my doggie brothers and sisters are there so I can visit, but my Mommy said she doesn't know. Mommy wanted to bring Boz too, but she said she probably won't. The rescue where Mommy and Daddy got Boz will be there, too (Great Lakes Mastiff Rescue), but Mommy said that it would be too much of a day for Boz. I guess Boz is an old guy, and he doesn't like to walk too much because he gets tired, and that would be lots of walking for him. He said the walks in the woods in our backyard are just enough for him. Mommy said she has pictures on her phone of him though, so they can see how he is doing.

My Mommy said I'm a very smart puppy! I know my name, and I know "come" already! And, I know "give me kisses" and my Mommy said she likes that one best because I give her kisses and she gets lots of puppy breath! My Mommy said that someone should make a candle that smells like puppy breath. I know, my Mommy is a weirdo!

I got to play outside some today, but not tonight because it's raining outside. It's ucky to go out to potty in the rain.

Mommy got some new pictures of me today, and she got some video of me playing with Ursula. Mommy said she put it on you tube, but doesn't know when it will be ready. Probably soon. Tomorrow I'll post a link to it. If it's ready tonight, Mommy said she'll put it on her Facebook.

Well, I'm going to go and play with my new toys before Mommy says it's bedtime!
